There are two distinct residential landlord insurance products. You have the option of residential building insurance, which includes either standalone cover for landlords’ contents only insurance, or both building and contents cover.

Coverage may be available for outbuildings, walls, gates, fences, jetties, pontoons and swimming pools. Landlord residential building insurance may also cover theft and burglary by tenants and their guests, and legal expenses and liability incurred as a landlord.
